FAQs for Business EV Charging Solution

1 - Which EN Plus charger is the best choice for EV fleets?

For Fleet operators, we recommend our DC fast charging stations to ensure efficient power replenishment.
Here are some good choices for you: Mobox Series, Turbo Series, Rocket Series.
These DC fast chargers can minimize the downtime and keep your fleet moving. You can easily expand your charging infrastructure as your fleet grows. What’s more, you can monitor and optimize your charging schedules for maximum efficiency with these chargers.

The number of chargers required depends on the size of your fleet, types of vehicles (cars, buses or trucks) and daily driving patterns. A general rule is to have one charger for every 2-3 vehicles, but this can vary based on charging times, vehicle usage, vehicle types and shift patterns. Conduct a thorough analysis of your fleet’s needs to determine the optimal number.

The time required to fully charge a fleet of EVs varies based on several factors: the type of vehicles (such as buses or trucks), their battery capacities, the fleet size, the number of available chargers, and the types of chargers used. Larger vehicles with bigger batteries take longer to charge. The more vehicles in the fleet, the more chargers you’ll need to maintain efficiency. For example, using Level 2 chargers, which are slower, might take 4-6 hours per vehicle, while DC fast chargers can reduce this time to 30 minutes to 2 hours.
You can use our calculator to estimate the charging time for different electric vehicles.

A smart charging management system, like our app EVChargo, can enhance fleet operations by optimizing charging times and monitoring energy usage. The system allows for remote management and scheduling of charges, reducing costs during peak hours and ensuring all vehicles are charged when needed. Additionally, it provides real-time data and analytics to help optimize fleet scheduling and reduce overall operational costs.
