Product selection guidance

Rocket is the high-power DC charger path. For compact private or light-commercial DC projects, Mobox may be sufficient. For medium-power commercial or fleet DC charging, Turbo may be the better fit. Rocket should be used where site demand justifies 160kW, 240kW or 300kW DC charging.

Rocket can support commercial operation paths, but public charging requirements differ by country. Product configuration should be matched to the billing, payment, platform and reporting model before deployment.

Private high-power DC charging
Standard Rocket can be selected for private fleet depots, commercial hubs or internal-use DC charging where the site is controlled and local installation rules are met.
Public or semi-public charging
For CPO, service station, retail or publicly accessible charging, confirm user authorization, payment path, pricing display, metering, data reporting and platform requirements before product selection.
POS and MID option
Optional POS and MID metering can support selected commercial scenarios, but they do not automatically satisfy every country’s public charging requirements.
Germany public billing
German public billing applications require PTB / Eichrecht-oriented development. Standard Rocket should not be positioned as a direct German public billing charger without project-specific customization.
