Nano can be controlled by an Energy Management System in PV scenarios to support renewable-energy charging and reduce grid consumption.

Country-specific positioning

Nano Duo should be positioned according to site access, billing model, connector requirement, available power and whether the charging service is private, semi-public or publicly accessible.

Germany

Private / non-public use

Suitable for non-public AC charging scenarios such as company parking, residential communities, hotel guest-only charging, campuses and internal fleet charging. German public billing applications require PTB / Eichrecht-oriented custom development rather than standard product positioning.

France

T2S version available

Suitable for selected residential community, workplace and private parking projects. T2S socket versions can support France-oriented projects where shuttered Type 2 sockets are required.

Netherlands

Load balancing fit

Suitable for residential community and workplace AC charging where multi-charger load balancing, smart management and efficient use of available capacity are important.

Spain & Portugal

EU semi-public fit

Local confirmation needed

Nano Duo’s workplace and private parking logic can support selected AC charging projects, while local certification, AS/NZS requirements and grid connection rules should be confirmed before standard deployment.

Public billing projects

Country-specific path

Publicly accessible charging, payment, metering and billing use cases should be confirmed by country. MID metering is not the same as all local public billing requirements, especially in Germany.

When metering or payment is required

Nano Duo supports optional MID metering and charging management workflows, but metering and billing requirements vary by country and project model.

Private and internal charging
Nano Duo can be selected for workplace, residential community, hotel guest-only, campus and private fleet locations where the site is controlled and local installation rules are met.
Shared or reimbursed use
For apartment billing, employee charging reimbursement, hotel guest charging or shared parking, confirm user authorization, metering, data export, invoice and platform integration requirements.
MID or no MID
Nano Duo can be configured with MID metering or without MID according to project requirements. Billing-related use cases should confirm local metering rules before product selection.
Germany public billing
German public billing applications require PTB / Eichrecht-oriented development. Standard Nano Duo should not be positioned as a direct German public billing charger without project-specific customization.
